Tomato Toast is a play on the Margherita Pizza, except for the basil. The mix of the warm, dry bread, crisp garlic, tomato, and mozzarella has gotten a most loved in our family and we stand by the entire year to utilize the nursery new, sun-matured tomatoes for this heavenly toast.
Fixings
2 large legacy tomatoes, stem and finishes trimmed (sliced into 1/2 inch cuts)
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground dark pepper
4 slices of white craftsman bread (sliced to 3/4 inch thickness)
2 garlic cloves (pressed or finely minced)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
4 oz Mozzarella cheddar
Guidelines
Step by step instructions to make the Best Tomato Toast
Toast the bread in a toaster, on a flame broil or a dry skillet until the outside is very much toasted/brilliant. Permit the bread to cool just somewhat.
In the meantime, blend the mayo and garlic. Cut the tomatoes and bread.
Spread some garlic mayo, top with a cut or two of tomatoes and season them with salt and pepper. Next, sprinkle with destroyed cheddar or shred the cheddar right onto the toast.
