Cinnamon Sugar Crackle Cookies



1 cup shortening

1-3/4 cups sugar divided

2  large eggs

2-3/4 cups all-reason flour

2 tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp baking pop

1/2 tsp salt

4 tsp ground cinnamon


Preheat stove to 400°. In an enormous bowl, cream shortening and 1-1/2 cups sugar until light and soft. Beat in eggs. In another bowl, whisk flour, cream of tartar, preparing pop and salt; slowly beat into the creamed blend.

In a little bowl, blend cinnamon and remaining sugar. Shape mixture into 1-in. balls; move in cinnamon sugar. Spot 2 in. separated on ungreased preparing sheets.

Prepare 8-10 minutes or until brilliant darker. Cool 2 minutes before expelling to wire racks to cool.
