Bacon Asparagus Pastry Twists


Asparagus has never been all the more compelling.


for 2 servings

1 sheet puff baked good, defrosted

6 slices bacon

12 spears asparagus

1 egg, beaten

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste


Preheat broiler to 400°F (200°C)

Cut the puff baked good into ½-inch (1-centimeter) strips.

Cut the bacon down the middle the long way into meager strips.

Fold a portion of bacon over an asparagus skewer in a winding.

Fold a piece of puff cake over the asparagus, circling it in the middle of the bacon winding.

Rehash with the remainder of the asparagus.

Spot the wrapped lances on a preparing plate fixed with material paper.

Brush them with egg wash, at that point sprinkle a touch of salt and pepper on top.

Prepare for 18 minutes, until brilliant darker and puffed.
